It’s a common misconception that Interior Design is about furniture combinations and colours. But the professionals know that it is in fact, a serious business.

Yes - design is vital - but how do you ensure your business stays afloat?

Common pitfalls include:
✔️ No clear fees
✔️ No defined scope
✔️ No contract protection

Very often “just one small change” becomes hours of unpaid work. Remember, creativity is what opens doors and gets you hired, but what keeps you in the business is communication and clarity.
