Meet John Fortis, one of our expert lecturers at our London campus.

As a producer and songwriter, John has a reputation as one of the best in the industry for discovering and developing some of the hottest emerging artists in the UK, kicking off with Razorlight and following with cuts with The Prodigy, Paolo Nutini, The Noisettes and Ellie Goulding, including production of her single 'How Long Will I Love You', which peaked at #3 on the UK singles chart.

Other artists worked with over the years include Lana Del Rey, The Libertines, Yellowdays, Michael Kiwanuka, Lewis Capaldi and Rachel Chinouriri, also new artists Quincy Telus and Leah Haworth on the pointblank Recordings (PBR) record label.

At pointblank, John lectures in the ITP Logic Music Production module and takes pleasure in sharing his knowledge with students and also helping them find their sound and niche in the industry.
