This is a joint statement of solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Occupied Kashmir from 20 societies at the LSE.

We stand in solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Occupied Kashmir and their right to self-determination.

We condemn attempts by Indian media outlets to silence discourses that speak out against the Indian Occupation of Kashmir at the LSE.

We support the right for all societies at the LSE to carry out events regarding Kashmiri Occupation.

The conversation about Kashmir only starts here.

Please speak out, educate and share! Raising awareness is one of the most effective ways in which we can aid the plight of the Kashmiri people.

Continue to encourage societies throughout the LSE to carry out events regarding the heinous human rights abuses that have been taking place in Kashmir since its occupation.
