Applications for our Invent with King's programme, organised with the King’s College London School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences, are now open! Apply here: http://bit.ly/KingsMedTech.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAMME ALL ABOUT?
Successful applicants will work in multidisciplinary teams to identify a current healthcare problem and develop a concept for a real-world tech-based solution . Resources will be provided to help build a prototype of the designed solution and the teams will be mentored personally by students who have previously followed the 5D process to successfully build their own medical technologies. Teams will pitch their ideas to leading industry experts at the Academic Health Science Centre at St Thomas’ Hospital. If successful, teams may be given funding and a unique chance to develop their projects further at research and industry sites at King’s or at other centres of excellence internationally. All committed teams will be provided with an official certification from King’s College London recognising their participation in the programme.
