Kicking off our committee introductions is the stunning Anne-Marie as our President…
“Hi everyone, my name’s Anne-Marie! I’m a Psychology Masters student and your ballet President this year 🩰💗 this role is a dream come true because I’m utterly obsessed with ballet and Tuesday evenings really are the highlight of my week! I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old and I’ve loved being able to keep dancing at uni. I do ballet, contemporary and jazz, so I spend a lot of time in the MPS! My job is to oversee the running of ballet society, support our members and the rest of committee, but most importantly make sure the society stays the fun and inclusive environment it is. Dance has absolutely made my uni experience and it’s where I’ve made some of my best friends. I’m very grateful to ballet society for bringing me so much joy and I can’t wait to continue spreading the ballet love xx”

Congratulations to everyone who received their A Level results today!! 🎉Whether you got the grades you wanted, or you’re a bit disappointed, you should be so proud of your hard work over the last two years.
To all those coming to Southampton, we can’t wait to meet you and hope you’ll join our wonderful society. Ballet is for everyone regardless of age, experience, gender or body. We welcome anyone and everyone, from those to have been dancing since they were tiny to people who have never danced at all; we have a class for everyone. If anyone has any questions, please don’t hesitate to message us! “Hi everyone! I’m Eleanor and I’m your ballet president! I’m so excited to have a bigger role in this amazing society this year! Ballet has been a massive part of my life for as long as I can remember and I’ve been a part of ballet society since the taster sessions of my first year, and for the past three years have taken part in squads and Pure Dance and loved every minute of it all! I can’t wait to see what we get up to this year - I know it’ll be great! See you all in the studio soon, ballet love! 🩰💗Xx”

Words cannot explain the love for this dance! Watching so many technical and strong dancers in this was stunning, and the sharp and genuinely breathtaking choreography was amazing 😍 thank you , and thank you to all the incredible dancers!!! ❤️
