What a fabulous afternoon at Cadworks in Glasgow delivering a LinkedIn personal branding workshop for Women in Property Scotland✨

The room was full of wonderful, engaged women who were keen to learn how they can make the most of LinkedIn and build their presence online.

We talked about personal branding, building confidence online, what to post, when to post, and the importance of being social and engaging with others. LinkedIn is so much more than just posting content. It's about building relationships and creating opportunities.

One of the highlights of the day was receiving some lovely feedback afterwards, including messages from attendees who took the time to reach out personally. That honestly means so much. I love sharing my story and knowledge to help others, but hearing how it has resonated with people is incredibly rewarding.

A huge thank you to Women in Property Scotland for inviting me along and trusting me to be part of the day.

When I capture content, I always aim to have it back with my clients within 24 hours so they can start sharing it straight away. 💞✨

It was a fantastic celebration of history, heritage and community. Days like these remind me how lucky I am to do what I do and be part of such special events. 😃

Welcome to the team, Lisa! 🎉

I’m so excited to share that Sophie Gets Social is now a team of three!

After an incredible response to our recent job opportunity, Lisa joined the team earlier this month and I’m absolutely delighted to have her on board.

Lisa has over 14 years of experience in a range of digital marketing and communication positions for festivals, events and arts organisations including Aberdeen Inspired (BID) and the University of Stirling Students' Union. She brings a huge amount of knowledge, creativity and experience to the business, and it’s been lovely already seeing the impact she’s making.

Honestly, moments like this still feel a bit surreal. I’m so grateful to be growing Sophie Gets Social and building such a brilliant team!

The Perambulation of the Stirling Walking of the Marches 💙🤳

It was an absolute pleasure for Sophie Gets Social to capture the atmosphere of the day and put together this wee highlights video for everyone. From the laughter and ceremony to the tartans, clan standards and glorious blue skies, every moment was made even more special by the incredible backdrop of Stirling Castle.

The Stirling Walking the Marches takes place this Saturday 30th May. Gather at the foot of King Street from 10:30am and join the formal procession. Excited to capture the content again. ✨

Such a proud moment seeing a Stirling lass and friend inducted as a Birlawman, continuing a tradition that has been part of the city’s history for centuries. ❤️

A busy week! ✨

This week, our team completed our DISC profiles with my amazing business coach, . It was such an insightful experience getting to know each other better and understanding how we work as a team.

We also filmed a brand-new promo video and updated our headshots, which I’m so excited to share soon. And next week, we’ll finally be introducing the third member of the team. 💞✨

Yes, we’re officially a team of three now! 🎉

Somewhere in between all of that, I visited Bannockburn House, wore a hard hat for the day, kept up with the nursery runs and watched Charlotte transform into a robot. 🤖😂

It’s also been a busy week of one-to-one social media coaching sessions and creating lots of content for clients.

Now it’s time for a well-earned weekend.
