"I don't see any recent posts for this group. So, as a shot for nothing..... I was in the very first SCA Fine Art cohort. We made a record with Donovan... I have a photo and can name everyone if any one is interested. I have a lived at Hill St for a while and booked Robert Plant and the Band of Joy. Plant shared my room for a while."
Some great info for the group, I'm sure lots will remember Martyn.

Again FB seems to have lost all the visitor posts on here ... So all the wonderful pictures so many of you posted have disappeared. There used to be a 'help' button if there was a problem and that has gone too . We are not alone as it's happened to other groups too. Please FB get your act together, this is a page to share memories and you have destroyed that 😡
Some of the pictures with texts are coming up in 'mentions' but sadly not all the pictures that were in the album 😢

"Hello, I wonder if you might be able to help me - I'm the image rights manager at the Contemporary Art Society, in London. We are a charity that places art in museums and institutions, and currently cataloguing retrospective acquisitions. There is a work by the late Harry Seager and I am hoping to contact his wife or children to seek copyright permission. I wonder if you may be able to help put me in touch or forward on an email?"

Hallelujah... FB has restored 'visitor posts' ... So now you can go back and see some of the great pictures etc.that people posted. It's a bit of a trawl and sadly not in a gallery as it was originally, but at least they are still there 😀

Sadly Alan Taylor died last week. Alan was a student in the mid sixties studying, I believe glass. He was renown for holding the tenancy of the infamous 1 Hill Rd, Lye.
He left before his course completion in 1968 but returned in the early seventies to complete the course.
Originally from Essex he had been living in Normandy for many years but had recently moved back to the UK to Cornwall.
He leaves his long term partner Jo. 😢 RIP Alan

It appears that FB has managed to lose all the wonderful visitors photos that have been posted over the years. With the new page format it is an impossible task to find them. I have notified FB. Perhaps tagging photos with Stourbridge College of Art - 60's & 70's may help .... but can anyone find the tagging button?????
