{🪄For Humanity☮️}
We would like to extend our warmest gratitude to TEDxHKU for including our Club as partners for tonight’s talk on the theme “What now?”, as well as heartful applause for Angel’s powerful remarks.

Our President-Emeritus Angel has delivered a impactful and insightful speech on Palestinian’s humanitarian crisis induced by Israel’s unrestricted military invasion, supplemented by highlighting HK’s local ignorance towards global affairs — although Genocide’s happening in front of the world’s cameras.

She highlighted the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Palestine 🇵🇸 — ‼️not Pakistan‼️ — which is commonly confused by many HongKongers. Since October 2023, Palestinians have been living through, despite literal death threats every second for more than a year, dire food shortages alongside other humanitarian disasters.

As Angel told us, hope and resilience are the key to carry on the everlasting — sometimes frustrating — struggle for global peace and justice. If an ordinary local citizen could do, you definitely can!💪🏼

The journey starts with you - educate yourself and spread awareness. 🔈 Let’s stop being limited to our perception of world in a goldfish bowl and acting out of the box! 🫡

{⛑️Aspiring Humanitarians⛑️}

The installation workshop of ‘The Next Generation in Distress’ UNICEF at HKU Case Comp 2025 has ended with tremendous success! 🎉

A massive shoutout for Ms. Candice Lau & Dr. Sebena after kickstarting the enriching topic on the first person view of Sudan’s immense humanitarian crisis amid the civil war and scholarly intro on humanitarian intervention. We can’t wait to see how it reflected back by all the team’s presentation! 🤩🌏

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants who had joined us yesterday!

Follow us for more updates on this incredible journey, and see you on our second workshop on March 15 (1400-1700)! 🙌🏻🔥
