CityU HK BBA Accountancy

CityU HK BBA Accountancy The Department was established in 1984 to prepare undergraduate students for professional accountancy and company secretaryship.

This original purpose has since been extended to include substantial research endeavours, unique interdisciplinary programmes and postgraduate programmes. The Department provides state-of-the-art accountancy education with a professional emphasis. By forging close links with the accountancy profession and business community in Hong Kong, the Department has tuned its mission in accounting education

and research to the requirements of the marketplace. Its educational expertise encompasses the primary fields of professional accountancy including financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation and financial management. Special attention is paid to the international dimensions of accounting, auditing and taxation, including the relevant systems in the Chinese mainland. The Department promotes the all-round development of its students through the implementation of the Whole Person Development programme.

It's our greater honour to invite Ms. Kelly Lee from HKEX to have a sharing session in the 2024/25 AC Orientation Day!

Ms. Lee is currently the Policy and Secretariat Services of the Listing Division. She has been deeply engaged in HKEX’s major listing policy and ESG initiatives in recent years.
