【Inside WPP: Exploring the Next Era of Media & Marketing 🚀✨】

The Department of Marketing recently led an inspiring company visit to WPP Media, a global leader in media and communications 🌍. Our students gained valuable insight into how WPP combines data 📊, technology 💻, and creativity 🎨 to develop innovative solutions that drive transformational brand growth.

The WPP team showcased the company culture, dynamic work environment and introduced their internship and graduate trainee programs 🎯. Listening to three WPP trainees share their journeys from university to successful careers, encouraged our students to step forward with confidence and boldly pursue their ambitions. 💬💪

We sincerely thank WPP Media for their warm hospitality. This visit not only broadened our students’ horizons but also sparked their passion to thrive in the media and marketing industries.

【HSUHK x CTF Life Marketing Mini-Hackathon計畫發佈會】

The Department of Marketing is proud to partner with CTF Life to launch a brand-new 💡 Marketing Mini-Hackathon this summer! At a recent briefing, Mr. Larry Tin and Mr. Michael Chan from CTF Life provided valuable insights into this creative, mentorship-driven marketing challenge.

HSUHK students will mentor secondary school participants, guiding them to develop innovative marketing ideas 💭 and presentation skills 🎤 — an excellent opportunity to prepare for the workplace, foster personal growth, and enhance academic portfolios. Special thanks to Harry and Grace, BBA-MKT Year 4 students, for inspiring their peers by sharing their experiences from the CTF Life Case Competition. 🌟

The School Ceremony 2024/25 was a celebration of hard work and achievement! A total of 74 BBA-MKT and 37 GB students were honoured with the Dean’s List and Best Progress Awards 🏅, recognizing their outstanding academic performance and remarkable growth 📚.

Additionally, Dr. Morgan YANG and Dr. Kevin ZENG proudly received the Research Excellence Award, while Dr. Winnie CHAN earned a nomination for the Teaching Excellence Award. The Department of Marketing is committed to driving innovation and shaping the future of our field.

MKT “Personal Tutor–Tutee Networking and Business Communication with AI: Master the Art of Email Workshop” was an inspiring afternoon where students and tutors came together for meaningful connection and knowledge exploration. ✨ Students enjoyed engaging conversations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Dr. Winnie Chan, BBA-MKT Programme Director, recently visited Choi Hung Estate Catholic Secondary School on two occasions to deliver an inspiring career talk titled “Digital Marketing: Challenges & Future” 🎯 to nearly 100 students from Secondary 3 to 6. During the talk, Dr. Chan highlighted the essence of marketing—creating value 💡, understanding customers 🤝, driving innovation 🚀, and crafting compelling stories ✍️. She also shared a real-world marketing success story that deeply resonated with the students, sparking their curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring careers in digital marketing.
