The arts have been one of the greatest healing resources throughout history playing a key role deeply engrained within health traditions cross culturally: dancing for healing and rites of passage, painting for contemplation and insight, drama for communication and enactment, music for relaxation and connection, or poetry for expression. Ever since the introduction of arts making in therapy, the ar

ts have re-established their role in prevention and treatment, as well as, in achieving wholeness and balance. Whether skilled with a brush or new to playing a drum, everyone has a latent capacity to create; and in this process the arts serve as vessels to transform life experiences and shape/create a new way of being, which is central to the therapeutic process of expressive arts therapy. Thirty years after the introduction of expressive arts to Hong Kong, we are proud to offer an exciting, innovative and creative training programme, the Master of Expressive Arts Therapy. As the first-of-its-kind programme in Hong Kong and Asia, we will train professionals as expressive arts therapy professionals in healthcare, education and community settings. With increased interest in the arts for health, wellness and growth, now is the perfect time for this newest addition to the family of our Department of Social Work and Social Administration.

承蒙華人永遠墳場管理委員會贊助，香港大學行為健康教研中心於2023-2024年開展【閃耀生命：表達藝術與智障人士生死教育計劃】項目。這項為期兩年的表達藝術計劃主要有四個部分：一）針對提升各界對智障人士心理社會需求的意識，了解如何以表達藝術為智障人士進行生死教育的公眾教育講座以及工作坊；二）為前線專業員工而設的Train-the-Trainer (TTT) 導師培訓計劃；三）智障人士作品藝術展覽及將智障人士作品編製成畫冊，以及；四）探索將表達藝術融入智障人士生死教育之可行性以及成效的評估研究。

香港大學行為健康教研中心團隊將於 2024年12月12日（星期四）舉辦項目成果發佈會，介紹這個以表達藝術為本的計劃及公佈成效研究的結果，並與參與計劃的培圳導師分享教授心得，前線同工分享接受培訓及社區服務的經驗，以及智障人士(小組成員)親自分享自身感受及應用表達藝術經驗。

"Tremor, rigidity, and slowness" are the three well-known physical movement symptoms of Parkinson's disease. However, some symptoms are related to non-movement or psychological issues. These symptoms may appear 10 to 20 years before the "tremor, rigidity, and slowness", so they are often overlooked. The Jockey Club Moving Care for Parkinson's Disease Project has invited a local celebrity, Mr. Vincent Kok Tak Chiu to narrate the video, introducing the four early warning signs of Parkinson's disease: loss of smell, depression, constipation, and sleep disorders.

啟動禮暨全方位認識柏金遜症工作坊

柏友有何身心需要？

賽馬會「柏動愛」柏金遜症關懷計劃 (2023-2026) 獲香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助，由香港大學行為健康教研中心及護理學院與香港復康會合辦，旨在為柏金遜症相關社群建立全面及可持續的社區關懷服務模式，推廣「早關注患症風險、早診斷並接受復康支援、早護理身心健康」，同時推動整體社會參與關懷柏金遜症。

啟動禮將會於十月二十七日舉行，歡迎大眾人士、專業身心健康護理人士、柏友(柏金遜症患者)及照顧者出席。

「Shall We Talk 擁抱無常」網上表達藝術體驗工作坊

本工作坊由2月20日至3月31日期間，分別於晚上7時正和8時30 分，透過網上進行。每一節60分鐘。每節的主體內容大致相同，由註冊表達藝術治療師 ( 邱誠武、杜駿雅、陳曉玲或楊蕙霖 ) 負責。語言為廣東話。

此活動為一般十八歲或以上成年人體驗表達藝術和減壓而設，並非醫治特定的精神症狀，請參加者留意自己的精神和情緒狀況，判斷是否適合參加。

工作坊的內容和治療師的指引是由香港大學表達藝術治療碩士課程總監何天虹教授督導，並由香港大學行為健康教研中心提供技術支援。工作坊由精神健康諮詢委員會推行的「陪我講 Shall We Talk」精神健康推廣和公眾教育計劃支持。
