The Writing Competition: 9 February to 20 May 2022
We are super excited to partner up, once again, with the Hong Kong Writer’s Circle (HKWC) to bring to you our 2nd conference theme-related writing competition: The Question of Flux & U. All submissions must be original and on a topic related to the strands, theme and sub-themes of this conference.

The WR2022 Website & Keynote Speakers
Our “retro” and theme relevant website has adapted some layout ideas from TESOL and TED; and showcases, along with many other features and takeaways, our Keynote Speakers:
• Professor Sheena Gardner (Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Research Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities, Coventry University, UK) – Flux in Academic Writing strand;
• Professor Richard Andrews (Head, Moray House School of Education and Sport, University of Edinburgh, UK) – Flux in Creative Writing strand; and
• Dr. Sean McMinn (Director and Adjunct Associate Professor, The English Language Centre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University) – Flux in the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning Writing strand.
