Your Door to Work for Heritage
From the time that the Postgraduate Diploma in Cultural Heritage Management was launched in early 2005, it was already recognized by the teaching team that Asia’s rich and diverse cultural heritage resources deserve a much higher attention and care from our societies. The HKU SPACE Postgraduate Diploma Programme “Postgraduate Diploma in Cultural Heritage Management” (CHM) takes a broad embracing view of cultural heritage management and addresses the specific issues and problems of Asia. The Programme, through a series of specialist topics orientated modules, systematically explores current and emerging issues related to understanding and managing Asia’s cultural heritage resources.
Since 2005 until today, the CHM programme have trained over a hundred professional graduates, many of them are now working in the heritage conservation and management field such as Heritage Consultant, Heritage Officer, Heritage Project Manager, Curatorial Officer, Education Officer etc. They are actively contributing to protection and conservation of Tangible and Intangible Heritage in Hong Kong and in overseas.
