Cityu GE 2212 GE2212 - Contemporary Business Communication - 當代商務溝通 It is suitable for undergraduates from all disciplines.

This course aims to provide students with fundamental communication knowledge and skills that can be applied to any type of organisation, including businesses, government departments and non-profit organisations. The course focuses on both theory and frameworks of practice, and topics include (1) basic individual communication skills; (2) communicating in the internal corporate environment and wit

h external partners and public bodies; (3) contemporary digital modes of communication; and (4) cross-cultural communication. The course employs a largely experiential learning pedagogy, and students engage in dynamic class discussions, simulation exercises, and case studies and work in a team setting with students from different academic disciplines.
