Cityu GE 2221 GE2221 - Violence and Crime The influence of media on violence as well as law and policy issues related to violent behaviour will also be explored.

This course aims to provide a general understanding of violence (e.g., gang, school, domestic, workplace, sexual) and examine biological, psychological, and sociological perspectives on violence. Through group discussion sessions, interactive exercises, and use of multi-media materials, students will develop critical thinking about violent behaviours and their impact on society, and reflect on societal solutions.
