Last Friday (6 Feb) we gathered at the Hong Kong Jockey Club to celebrate “entrepreneurship” with 45 members & friends—an evening full of inspiring stories, great conversations, and reconnecting with familiar faces while making new friends.

MCAA is really excited to invite you all to the upcoming ”Sake, Gin & Perfume Experiences“, a MCAA Social Night with local entrepreneurs – An evening designed to gather Morningsiders & Friends for an experiential night filled with fun activities, food & alcohol!

This is more than just a Weekly Friday Night‘s Out – it’s a chance to reconnect with old friends, make valuable new connections, discover exciting local and international brands, and be inspired by a very special Mystery Guest Speaker (Local Medical Practitioner turned Entrepreneur), who aims to share his entrepreneurial journey and expertise, hopefully to inspire insights to our personal development.

☀️ A huge thank you to every alumnus who joined us for a kayaking adventure through the stunning landscapes of Sai Kung last Sunday. Paddling through the calm waters and sharing so many laughs was the best reminder of the incredible community we share. Already looking forward to the next one! 💙

Dear Members,

Our long-postponed kayaking event is back again! This is our final call and below are the new event details.

As you may recall, the event was postponed due to a typhoon on July 19 and a subsequent typhoon on August 24. We have rescheduled to ensure everyone‘s safety. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to host the event hoping to bring our Morningside community closer through this event.

To support our mentorship program, this time we have extended the invitation to our current students to participate. If you are part of the mentorship program and you are attending with your mentee, your mentee will be coming for free. So please reach out to your mentee.

We sincerely hope you can join us!

Date: Sunday, October 26, 2025
Time: 8:30 AM -11:30 AM
Meet-up Location: Sai Kung Fortune Water Sports Centre (西貢鴻運水上活動中心)
Participation Fees: HK$300 per person - fees include kayak rental, life jacket, shower facilities, lockers and packed lunch.

A heartfelt thank you to our MCAA community for making the Morningside College Mentorship Program Inauguration on Sep 20, 2025! 🎉 Your presence and enthusiasm lit up the event, and a special shoutout to our amazing speakers and alumni who shared their experiences and stepped up as mentors. 🙌 This mentorship program is a new initiative for Morningside, and we hope to see more connections and emerging leaders from our college community!

As a distinguished graduate from Morningside College, your professional experience, insights, and unique journey can provide invaluable guidance to our current students. This program aims to foster meaningful connections between alumni and students, helping the next generation navigate their academic and career paths with greater confidence.

Mentorship Program Overview:

Duration: September 2025 – April 2026
Commitment: Approximately 2–3 hours per month (virtual or in-person meetings)
Matching Criteria: Based on academic background, career interests, and industry
Program Launch: September 20th, 2025

[Rescheduled] Kayaking & Snorkeling Adventure in Sai Kung | 24 August, 2025

Due to the Typhoon on July 19, we’ve rescheduled the kayaking to August 24. Your prior RSVP will carry over, but please let us know if the new timing doesn’t work for you. We also added a little incentive - free lunch for first 10 RSVPs at Sai Kung!

Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or just looking for a fun way to reconnect with fellow alumni, this is the perfect opportunity to explore Hong Kong’s beautiful coastline, paddle through crystal-clear waters, and discover vibrant marine life while snorkeling!

Members and friends of MCAA had a fantastic time volunteering at HKDR last Saturday 🐶We learned about the centres mission, walked and played with adorable dogs, helped clear branches to keep the space tidy, and even did a bit of souvenir shopping ~
