ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers is an international organization of 50,000 persons with chapters throughout the world. The Society is organized for the sole purpose of advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration for the public's benefit through research, standards writing, continuing education and publications.

ASHRAE Joint Student Branch Annual General Meeting 2018 was finished on the last weekend.

Student Branches offer student members the opportunity to interact and 'network' with members of the local ASHRAE Chapter, to participate in technical tours, learn from guest speakers, present technical papers, and to interact with other students with the same career interests.

The HKU Student Branch 2018/19 is ready to serve HKU students by holding activities. Look forward to the events of this year.

The ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter Student Activities Committee is going to organize a career talk for engineering students who pursue to be an engineering professional in the industry. Details are as follows:

Date: 27 Oct. 2017 (Friday)
Time: 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm (Registration will start at 6:45 pm)
Venue: Rm Y4302, City University of Hong Kong

Content: Trade introduction to Consultant, Property Management, Public Sector & Contractor

Language: Cantonese

Capacity: 80
(First-come-first-served; priority will be given to ASHRAE student members)

Fee: Free of charge
