Worrying about your performance in your graduate job interview? Aiming to become the most competitive candidate? The face-to-face mock interview held by the HKIESC-HKU is here to help!

In our mock interview, HKU students can practise their interviewing skills with students from the UST. This provides our members the most updated and useful interview tips directly from the interviews. It is also a valuable chance for final year students to sharpen interview skills as well as receive constructive feedback from experienced interviewers from different companies. This year we are grateful to have the most outstanding companies, Gammon, ARUP and MTR to be our interviewers. Get well prepared and become a more competitive candidate upon graduate job applications!

We are co-hosting a site visit with the Project Mingde Student Association (PMSA) to Yau Ma Tei East (YMTE) Section of the ongoing Central Kowloon Route (CKR) project.

CKR is a project of the Highways Department to relieve traffic congestion on the existing east-west roads across Central Kowloon, by building a 4.7 km long dual 3-lane trunk road connecting the West Kowloon reclamation and the proposed Kai Tak Development, including a tunnel of about 3.9km long.

Background of CITAC:
Construction Innovation and Technical Application Centre (CITAC) is established by the Construction Industry Council (CIC), aiming to promote the application of innovative techniques and solutions in the local construction industry It serves as a knowledge hub by collecting, showcasing and promulgating the latest local and overseas construction technologies to promote the implementation and application of construction innovation. It has around 10,000 square feet of an exhibition area with over 40 innovative technologies currently on display.

CITAC will offer us a guided tour for the introduction of the exhibits, an attendance certificate will be issued by CITAC to the participants after the event. More information can be found in the attached leaflet and the official website:https://www.citac.cic.hk/en-hk

Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19, unfortunately, we cannot allow applicants who have returned from Mainland China 14 days prior to the visit or those who have a fever or other symptoms to participate. All participants are required to wear a surgical mask during the event and fill in the health declaration form. We retain the right to deny the participation of any applicants who refuse to cooperate. In the event that the visit is canceled or delayed, deposits will be returned to all applicants, so please stay tuned for any updates.

HKIE Student Chapter – HKU is now recruiting Committee Members for Session 2021 – 2022!

As an active advocate of engineering, we, the Student Chapter at HKU under the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) aim to encourage and foster an amiable interactive platform among our members and maintain an intimate relationship between the Institution and its student members.

With the full support from HKIE, you will be exposed to a wealth of opportunities of interactions with industry leaders, professionals, engineers-to-be, and students from different institutions by organising various activities with your committee members.
