We are thrilled to announce that the University Grants Committee (UGC) has allocated 110 scholarship places to HKUST under the Future Talents Scholarship Scheme for Advanced Studies (FTSS). A total of 22 taught postgraduate programs have been selected for inclusion in the first to second cohorts (2025/26 to 2026/27 intakes).

We are proud to share that our MSc Program in Drug Regulatory Affairs and Policy (DRAP) is one of the selected programs! 🎓

📢The Department of Health (DH) has announced the establishment of the Preparatory Office for the Hong Kong Centre for Medical Products Regulation (CMPR). This office will study and propose steps for the formal establishment of the CMPR, as well as explore ways to strengthen the regulatory and approval regimes for drugs and medical devices.

The long-term objective is to establish an authority that registers drugs and medical devices in Hong Kong, accelerating the clinical use of new products and fostering the development of health and medical innovation. Hong Kong aims to become an internationally renowned regulatory authority, implementing a "primary evaluation" approach for medical products.
