Citi - HKUST International Case Competition

Citi - HKUST International Case Competition Citi-HKUST International Case Competition (CICC) is a world-class business case competition in Asia region co-organized by Citi Hong Kong and HKUST.

Over a dozen of teams from leading business schools from all over the world will compete for the championship in Hong Kong every year since 2003. There will be four undergraduate students in each team. The competing teams will be presented with a business case developed for the event by The Thompson Center for Business Case Studies, HKUST Business School. The case provides background about an orga

nization and outlines a set of pressing business issues that senior management needs to address. Supporting data and other associated information such as annual reports, financial data, and market research studies will also be provided as references. The competing teams have to use their skills and expertise in a wide range of business disciplines from accounting, economics, finance, marketing, operational management, strategy and technology to complete their analyses. Each team of students will present their findings and recommendations to a panel of judges who come from the business world. Objectives:
- Provide a world-class competition that highlights the strategic challenges and managerial dilemmas faced by global business leaders.
- Promote teamwork and cross-cultural exchange.
- Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and sharing of experience among students and faculty members.
- Promote Hong Kong through the case and the event. Enquiries:

The long awaited Case Company for the Division Round is eventually revealed!

As a special edition for the 15th Citi - HKUST International Case Competition, Citi is not only the sponsor, but also the case company for both Short Case and Division Round this year!

Teams have visited their Mong Kok Branch this morning and the case books will be distributed this afternoon.

Don't forget to collect the case books at LSK3028 (3/F Lee Shau Kee Business Building) at the designated time!
