United College Toastmasters Club is an ideal platform for students to excel themselves and train up their public speaking skills. In order to improve, learning from the others is definitely a good solution. Therefore, as the 10th Executive Committee, we emphasize on the promotion of the club and continuing our tradition. We do encourage and hope students to attend our regular meetings and have a t

aste of what Toastmasters Club is. Apart from regular meetings, joint-club meetings and contests would be held to provide a large variety of activities for our members. United College Toastmasters Club is always a place for us to learn and excel ourselves. We hope to continue its valuable tradition and make it towards a bright future.

Building resilience for the future💪🏻

Four years have passed since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, and HongKongers have faced numerous challenges along the way👣 Fortunately, we are now returning to our normal lives. As we step into 2024 with renewed hope🌟, let’s reflect on the lessons learned during these trying times. Share the challenges you have overcome during the pandemic😷 How can we apply these lessons to prepare for and respond to future pandemics or crises?Share your thoughts on how individuals, communities, and governments can work together to build resilience and adapt to unpredictable situations🦾

We had a wonderful gathering on Thursday and it was a pleasure 😘to have each and every one of you present. Despite being in the midst of mid-term exams, we had a respectable turnout for our Halloween meeting. It is evident that our members possess excellent time management skills. 🥳The theme of the meeting was time travel adventures, and we were delighted to hear our members' stories on this topic. The United College Toastmasters Club (UCTMC) is for all UC students who want to develop their English speaking skills in a friendly environment. 🥳We strive hard together and embrace public speaking at this highly supportive and professional platform for honing your speaking talents. UCTMC is part of the Toastmaster community:

What is Toastmasters International? 🥳

Toastmaster is an international English speaking club founded in 1924.🤓 Since Toastmasters began, members have benefited from the organization’s communication and leadership programs. Toastmasters International have over 15,800 clubs and more than 300,000 members in approximately 149 countries.🤩

What does our club do? 🤪

We are proactive United College students who gather every other Thursday. We are eager to establish a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, even if you are timid to speak, in order to inspire members to challenge themselves.💪💪

We provide you with a welcoming practice space! 😎This is definitely the ideal site for you if you want to increase your social circle and reduce social anxiety! At first, we seemed not very proficient. Your willingness to push yourself beyond of your comfort zone is what matters. 🫂

Come join us with various roles, from facilitators like Toastmaster of the evening (host), to speakers of impromptu speech or prepared speeches. You’ll for sure finds your place here!🤩🤩
