The Annual General Meeting of the Undergraduate Law Society will be held on the 24th of March, 2025.

Details are as follows:
Date: 24 March 2025 (Monday)
Time: 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Venue: Lecture Theatre 1, Esther Lee Building, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The meeting aims to receive and ratify the Post-activities Report presented by the President and the Post-activities Financial Report presented by the Treasurer of the outgoing Committee, Hesperus.

In addition, the meeting aims to receive and ratify the Proposed Year Plan presented by the President and the Proposed Budget presented by the Treasurer of the incoming Committee, Vincere.

We sincerely invite you to attend the meeting to know more about our plans for the upcoming year. Your presence is of crucial importance to the meeting, as our continual service depends on your approval of our Proposed Year Plan and Proposed Budget.

Haldanes Solicitors and Notaries Presents: Criminal Law Mooting Competition 2025

The Advocacy and Mooting Society, Faculty of Law, the University of Hong Kong (“AMS”) is delighted to present the upcoming Criminal Law Mooting Competition 2025 (“the Competition”).

Since its establishment in 2002, AMS has organised different events, most notably mooting competitions, to encourage law students’ interest in mooting and nurture them into future advocates. Consisting of a two-round mooting competition, the Competition aims to provide law students an opportunity to develop their advocacy skills while deepening their understanding of Criminal Law.

Preliminary Round
Date: 15 th March, 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 09:30 - 18:30
Venue: LG/F, K.K. Leung Building, The University of Hong Kong, Pok Fu Lam Rd
Dress code: Law Formal

Final Round
Date: 22nd March, 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 09:30 - 13:30
Venue: High Court Building, 38 Queensway, Admiralty
Dress code: Law Formal

Eligibility
Application is open to students registered under the Faculty of Law, the University of Hong Kong or the Chinese University of Hong Kong. All LLB and double degree law programmes undergraduates, JD, PCLL, MCL, LLM students are eligible to apply.

Students who are interested, please find another teammate to form a two-person team, and submit your application via the following Google Form: https://forms.gle/k5bvhqQY47W2KDvM9 on or before 1 st March, 2025 (Saturday) at 23:59. Please note that each team should only submit one application.

Hi everyone! I am Bernice Wong, the proposed President of Vincere, the 17th Executive Committee of the Undergraduate Law Society, CUHK. Hi everyone! I am Herman Pang, the proposed Treasurer of Vincere, the proposed 17th Executive Committee of the Undergraduate Law Society, CUHK. I hope to maintain a stable financial foundation for Vincere, so we can continue the Undergraduate Law Society’s continued mission of bridging the gap between CUHK Law students and legal professionals.
