在最新公布的 2027 年 QS 世界大學排名中，香港科大躍升至全球第 33 位。
科大在「每名教員論文引用數目」及「國際教員比例」兩項指標均取得滿分，並在「國際學生比例」方面獲得 99.9 的佳績，科研實力雄厚，而且國際視野遼闊。
在學科排名方面，科大工學院位列全球第 40 位，並連續16 年排名香港第 1。

HKUST continues its upward momentum in the latest QS World University Rankings 2027, rising to World No.33.

The University achieved a perfect score in Citations per Faculty and International Faculty Ratio, alongside an outstanding 99.9 in International Student Ratio—reflecting its global impact in research and strong international outlook.

In subject rankings, HKUST Engineering is ranked No.40 worldwide, extending its remarkable 16-year streak as Hong Kong’s No.1 in Engineering.

Through HKUST Engineering courses and internship, Jimmy realized that cybersecurity is more about defense than offense, with a strong emphasis on crisis management and teamwork! He believes that while AI is an incredible tool for boosting efficiency, human experience and trust remain irreplaceable!

200多名小四至中三學生參與「科大x 教大水底機械人同樂日」中，探索機械人的世界。在兩校廿四名學生大使的帶領下，活動結合了體驗式STEAM學習、團隊合作與創新精神，激發學生對科學與工程的興趣。

科大STEAM Tutor Team由一群受過培訓的本科生組成，他們運用自身知識帶領活動，讓小朋友探索STEAM的不同樂趣。

Over 200 P4 to S3 students dove into the world of robotics at the HKUST x EdUHK Underwater Robot Fun Day. Guided by two dozen student ambassadors from both universities, the activity-packed day combined hands-on STEAM learning, teamwork, and innovation, sparking curiosity in science and engineering.

The HKUST STEAM Tutor Team is a group of trained undergraduate students who apply their knowledge to lead activities for young learners and inspire them to explore STEAM.

Congratulations to the HKUST Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Team on clinching their 14th championship at the Hong Kong Regional Contest of the MATE International ROV Competition. Made up of mostly Year 1 and 2 students from various disciplines, the team will go on to represent Hong Kong at the international competition in Canada.
