We were honored to welcome our guest speakers, Gordon Chen and Kenson Cheung, Associate Directors from KPMG Advisory (Hong Kong) Limited, who shared valuable industry insights on “Technology Risk – Cybersecurity in the Real World.”

Through engaging discussions and real-life cases, students gained a deeper understanding of cybersecurity practices, risk management, and the evolving landscape of technology risk, along with practical perspectives on career development in the field.

A wonderful way to conclude the course—thank you to our speakers and students for making it such a meaningful and insightful session.

🔍 Event Highlight | Enrichment Talk: From Digital Crime Scene Identification to Digital Forensic Analyses

Last Saturday, participants dived into the world of digital forensics with Mr. Michael Kwan, co-founder and CEO of Asia Pacific Internet Centre (APIC). Drawing from over 20 years of experience in cybercrime investigation and IPR protection, Mr. Kwan shared valuable insights on how digital crime scenes differ from physical ones — and the techniques used to uncover crucial digital evidence.

💻 From identifying virtual crime scenes to analysing metadata and logs, attendees gained a deeper understanding of how investigators trace cyber footprints in today’s connected world.

A big thank-you to Mr. Kwan for the inspiring and eye-opening session, and to all who joined us in exploring the fascinating intersection of technology, law, and investigation!
