【嶺大校友攜手共襄善舉：新界區賣旗日】由嶺大校友、學生及其親友👩‍👦組成的義工隊👫，於2026年3月28日參與「新界區賣旗日」，為非牟利機構屯門婦聯籌募善款，以支持該機構在屯門區為婦女👩、長者🧓、青少年🧑‍🎓及兒童🧒等提供的服務💕。屯門婦聯執行委員會委員侯詠璇女士親臨校園，向義工們表達衷心感謝。是次活動體現了嶺大「作育英才，服務社會」的校訓，凝聚了嶺南人與大學齊心推動社會責任的承諾。🌟義工們十分珍惜這次為社區帶來實質幫助的機會，並為能與親友及同窗分享服務精神，感到格外欣喜。🥰

[Alumni Unite for a Meaningful Cause: New Territories Flag Day] On 28 March 2026, a volunteer team 👫comprising Lingnan alumni, student, their families and friends 👩‍👦 participate in the New Territories Flag Day. The event aimed to raise funds for the Tuen Mun District Women's Association (TMWA) to support its community programmes dedicated to women 👩, the elderly 🧓, youth 🧑‍🎓, and children 🧒 within the Tuen Mun District. 💕Ms Julia Hau, Member of the Executive Committee of TMWA, warmly greeted and thanked our volunteers on Lingnan campus.

This meaningful initiative exemplified Lingnan's motto "Education for Service", uniting Lingnanians to actively contribute to the University’s mission of serving society. 🌟Volunteers treasured the opportunity to make a tangible impact, and expressed great joy in sharing the spirit of volunteerism with their families and peers. 🥰

【Lingnan University Gala Dinner raises over HK$3 million to advance human-centred AI research💡🌟】

Lingnan University proudly hosted its signature fundraising event, the Bright Future Charitable Foundation presents: Lingnan University Gala Dinner, on 18 March, and raised over HK$3 million. All proceeds will be used to enhance the University’s research facilities, supporting infrastructure, and cutting-edge research projects.

The Dinner, themed “Elevate to Innovate: Scaling New Heights for Sustainable Impact”, brought together nearly 400 distinguished Lingnan alumni, staff, students, and friends from different sectors of society, to contribute to the University’s sustainable development in teaching and research. 🥰

「心理健康大使計劃」(WAP) 由嶺大和富李宗德諮詢及輔導心理學研究中心舉辦，並得到和富社會企業的慷慨支持🌟。自2020年推出以來，該計劃已成為推動青少年心理健康與福祉的重要平台，並已擴展至多間教育機構，透過實踐式訓練，有效培養參與者的心理韌性，並幫助他們減少負面情緒。2025年心理學畢業生張子豐表示，參加WAP的經歷徹底改變了他對生活及快樂的看法，讓他深刻領悟聆聽的力量。此外，WAP提升了他的自我意識⬆️，教會他有效管理壓力的方法。

【Impact of Giving💪🏻: Promoting Secrets to Happiness】

The Wellness Ambassador Programme (WAP), launched by the Wofoo Joseph Lee Consulting and Counselling Psychology Research Centre at Lingnan University and generously supported by Wofoo Social Enterprises, is a meaningful initiative dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and well-being among young people🌟. Since its inception in 2020, WAP has expanded its reach to numerous educational institutions, successfully fostering resilience and helping participants reduce negative emotions through hands-on training. Justin Cheung, a 2025 Psychology graduate, shared that the programme profoundly transformed his understanding of happiness and the importance of active listening. Through WAP, he enhanced his self-awareness⬆️ and developed effective stress management techniques.

[Polish Culture Day🇵🇱] The Polish Culture Day was held on 24 January 2026 (Saturday)🎉, welcoming over 40 alumni along with their families and friends. Our guest speaker, Prof Michał Wojewódzki, alumnus and currently Associate Professor of Teaching in Finance, delivered an engaging and interactive sharing on the vibrant Polish culture, and enjoyed the authentic Polish cuisine together with participants.
