Congratulations to UCC's very own Government of Ireland Scholars and Education in Ireland's Student Ambassadors as they finish a successful academic year studying in UCC.

Last Friday, one of our student ambassadors joined our GOI scholars , and Tatyana Bailey in Dublin for this years GOI-EIS Award Ceremony, where they received their prestigious certificates from Education in Ireland, recognising the hard work and dedication that got them to that very Friday afternoon.

We wish to thank Education in Ireland for offering such a valuable opportunity for our GOI and Student Ambassadors, and wish our students the very best.

The Swap Shop is accepting donations!🌍

We would love to accept donations of your clean items to help incoming students in January, contributing to our at !

🛌Bedlinen, pillows, duvets
🍽 Kitchen items, cutlery, tea towels
📖Storage solutions, drying racks, pictures, books
🏠Any items that help students feel at home

We prefer not to accept clothes or shoes, though many charity shops across Cork will be happy to take them. 🚫👔

📢 Pre-Arrival Webinar Series for Incoming International Students

Join our Pre-Arrival Webinar Series, designed to support incoming international students as you prepare for your move to Cork and and begin your studies at UCC.

The series will include live Q&A sessions on a range of important topics, including:

• Student Supports at UCC
• Accommodation
• Living in Cork City

These sessions will provide useful information and the opportunity to ask questions directly to staff

Yesterday, our history early start programme took us on an unforgettable trip to Killarney! 🚌🌿
We kicked things off exploring Ireland‘s first national park and hiked down to the breathtaking Torc Waterfall (yes, it started raining halfway - classic!🥲🌧️). Afterwards, we visited the historic Muckross House and got a glimpse into 19th-century life in the heart of Killarney. 🏠✨
A brilliant mix of nature, history, and a bit of rain!🌟
