๐ PAST PUPIL SPOTLIGHT ๐We caught up with Keeva Macken: Class of 2026 to find out how sheโs getting on since leaving Cnoc Mhuire and to hear some of her favourite memories from her time with us.
How are you getting on since leaving Cnoc Mhuire? What are you doing now?
I'm getting on really well since leaving Cnoc Mhuire. I'm currently studying for a Bachelor of Civil Law in DCU. It's been a really big change from secondary school, but I'm really enjoying college and getting to meet new people.
What do you miss most about Cnoc Mhuire? I probably miss the people the most, especially seeing all my friends every day and the teachers. Spending so many years there, everything becomes familiar. You definitely don't appreciate it until you're finished.
What was your favourite memory from your time in the school? One of my favourite memories was definitely the ski trip I went on in TY. It was such a fun experience and a great opportunity to try something new. I also really enjoyed having a mix of subjects, and the teachers that helped me really had a positive impact.
What advice would you give to the current Leaving Certificate students?
My biggest piece of advice would be to not put too much pressure on yourself. The Leaving Cert is important, but it's not the end of the world either. Most importantly, enjoy your last year in school and make memories because it goes so much quicker than you think.
๐ Class of 2026: weโd love to hear from you! Send us a message on our social media and let us know how youโre getting on.
