PUC NCC is very pleased and proud to announce that two of our cadets from the 2020 enrollment have secured honourable positions in the Mizoram University UG Final results declared recently.

JUO Lalbiakliana (1st slide) has secured 1st rank in the Department of Chemistry, and JUO Lalmawizuala (2nd slide) has also secured 6th rank in the Department of Mathematics.

Cadets' determination and discipline have yet been proved again by their excellence not only in NCC activities, but also in their academics.

Heartfelt congratulations to them and all cadets who have passed their UG final exams with flying colours, wishing them the very best for their future endeavours!๐ŸŽ‰

EK BHARAT SHESTRA BHARAT - II, UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN

We departed from 1 Mizo Air Squadron Office Khatla, Aizawl at around 1020hrs on 21st December 2022 heading Silchar.
We reached Silchar Railway station by Sumo at around1800hrs.

And then we departed from Silchar railway station at 2220hrs and reached Guwahati railway station on the next morning i.e 22nd December 2022 at 0935hrs.

After reaching Guwahati again we departed from Kamakhya junction at around1830hrs. After along ride and spending 2 days and 3 night in the train we finally reached Udaipur around 0050hrs on 25th December 2022.

Arrival Day (Day 1) - 25th December 2022. Around 0700hrs in the morning we had breakfast and we settled down. We had documents checking the whole day.

Day 2 - 26th December 2022. 0900hrs Camp opening programme & welcoming address by 5 Raj Girls BN NCC Commanding officer and Group commander Colonel Bhaskar Chakrabarti (PARA SF). And aftee that Quiz competition and Khokho games (for girls) were held. In which the cadets represents their groups and Dtes.

Day 3 - 27th December 2022. On the beautiful and cold morning of the lovely December, Voleyball competition was held in which NER DTE SD were the winner and SW were the runner up. After that the extempore speech, Solo and Solo dance competition foolowed. In the late afternoon but with a nice weather we visited Karnimata Mandir , Durtalai lake and Pichola lake in which the cadets were enjoyin the beautiful sites of Udaipur.

Day 4 - 28th December 2022. Interchange of languages programe was conducted and different cultural and languages were exchanged between the NER DTE and Rajasthan DTE. During that time SW went for site seeing, visiting some famous places of Udaipur.

Day 5 - 29th December 2022. All the Cadets of NER DTE and some Cadets from Udaipur group went to visit City Palace which was built in the early 16th century construction began by Maharana Udai Sigh II who is the Maharana of Mewar. And after that we went on to visit Haldighati Museum. After a gainful experience of the Mewar Kings and battle of Haldighati we went to Shilpgram.

Day 6 - 30th December 2022. Relay race competition was held and after the games we were having a Cultural practice which was to be shown on the 31st night of December.

Day 7- 31st December 2022. Tug of war competition for SD and SW was held in the morning. And presentation on different topics were held by both DTE. NIAP programme Which was a cultural show was held. On the night of 31st December Cultural night in which different states showed its of our own culture by singing and dancing and followed New year Celebration which was cake cutting ceremony.

Day 8 - 1st January 2023. Football competition was held between both DTE for SD and SW. In the noon time debate competition was held.

Day 9 - 2nd January 2023. Closing ceremony was conducted by Col Bhaskar Chakrabarti. Photo session was held and in the evening around 1400hrs we departed from the Camp.

On the 2nd January we again began our journey back from Udaipur, Rajasthan to Guwahati, Assam by train and after along journey we have reached Kamakhya Junction on 5th January 2022. From Guwahati we went on to the path of our way home by Bus and after arriving at Silchar we all sat in a Sumo again and reached Mizoram on the 6th January 2023 at around 0400hrs in the morning.

We have met alots of new friends, and experiencing new things, also exchangin our culture and learn new things. We never thought of Rajasthan as a state having such a beautiful City of lake but after visiting we realized that to know things better we have to explore it more.

Interactive session between Ex UO F.Lalthanliana and cadets of PUC and HBD NCC was held on 11th January, 2023 at PUC Golden Jubilee Hall.

Ex UO F.Lalthanliana,batch of 2018 PUC NCC who have cleared 21-SSB Bhopal and got recommended through NCC Special Entry and currently awaiting merit list.

He gave a brief and clear introduction of the stages and procedure of SSB,dos and donts in SSB,tips and tricks in SSB, interaction between cadets etc. We are grateful to Senior Thantea for sharing such kind of this rare opportunities and PUC NCC wish you all the best for your future endeavours

It is our pleasure to inform you that our fellow cadet of Pachhunga University College NCC (20 Mizoram Bn NCC) Senior sergeant Elizabeth Lalmuansangi, 3rd enrollment; Department of Statistics (5th semester) has been designated the post of Constable in Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) under Staff Selection Committee (SSC) and has already set aboard to join the training which started from 26th December, 2022(Monday).

Under SSC, it is believed that CISF is one of the hardest to get into in terms of Armed Police Forces. With only 2 seats for women under the tribal quota, Senior Sergeant Elizabeth Lalmuansangi being one of the two selected cadet. It is an honor and pleasure for the PUC NCC to have such an outstanding cadet amongst us. We pray & wish her well for her further journey and well being.

We are fortunate to be accompanied by Sir Dayne Thiamsangliana(joined NDA in 2020) and Andy Lianthangluaia(ex cadet of RIMC),where they share their experience as ex RIMC cadet,training in NDA,group discussion,interactive talk etc....We are thankful to Sir Dayne and Andy for able to spent with us in such a congested time

We celebrated our Advent Christmas by having Bara Khana,gift exchange,fancy dress,dancing,singing etc... Everyone have a good time and memorable moments...

*ALL INDIA RAJGIR TREK*

All India Trekking Competition 2022-2023 was attended by four SD and three JD from Mizoram.On 8.10.2022 we left Thuampui for Guwahati by bus and from Guwahati we headed straight to Bihar(Gaya)

On 11.10.2022 we reached Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya our camp base and we were warmly welcomed by 38 Bihar Batallion NCC.This Trekking was attended by 3 Directorate i.e Bihar & Jharkhand Dte.,North East Region(NER) Dte. and Odisha Dte.

On 12.10.2022 Opening Address for All India Trek Rajgir was opened by Colonel Rajav Bansai.From 13.10.2022 to 16.10.2022 the main event trekking was held.We were divided into two groups and approxiametly we walked 10-15kms everyday.We trek to several places like Ghora Katora, Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Ancient Nalanda University, Xuan Zang Memorial, Ganga Udhan Dam, Dashrath Manjhi Samadhi Sthal, Dashrath Manjhi Dwar and Nature Safari.Starting from the evening of 16.10.2022 Directorate Competition was held on quiz,painting,tug of war and cultural was held.

On 17.10.2022 prize distribution was held and All India Trek Rajgir Closing address was done by Brig. Nitish Bisht.We left our camp base on 19.10.2022 and safely reached Aizawl on 22.10.2022

All India Trekking Odisha

On the early morning of 16.09.2022,four mizos and one PI Staff departed by sumo from Zarkawt and reach Guwahati where a total of 104 NER cadets including 3 ANOs from Nagaland left for Kesinga railway station and on 19.09.2022 we reach our trekking camp base i.e Kalahandi University

Starting from 20.09.2022 to 26.09.2022 several programmes and trekking were held like a trek to Rabandhara,Risi Gaon,Dolarinchanchara.Night time was mostly spent as Cultural Programmes where each Directorate attending the camp showcase there cultural ethic ,traditional dance,etc.Khual lam and Chheih lam were also performed by us

On the morning of 27.09.2022 we left our base for Kesinga Rail Station to Howrah Rail Station and reach Guwahati on 29.09.2022.Around 1730 hrs we went for Silchar and reach our destination on the early morning of 30.09.2022 where PI Staff welcomely awaited for us.From here our next destination was Aizawl and we reached Aizawl around 1700 hrs.All Indian Tribal Trekking was attended by 545 cadets from 5 Directorate,101 cadets from NER.I would also like to thank 20 Mizoram Battalion NCC for their support,caring and looking after us during the whole trip

*PRE TSC*

In the field of NCC Army Wing ,TSC is the highest camp present.To attend the camp ,three individuals have been selected from our Institution .The selected cadets are - one SD and two SW, i.e.
1.UO.Judith Lalremsangi
2.Cpl.Teresa Lalmawizuali
3.Cpl.Marcos Zonunsanga

Competitions were held on various events where the cadets competed .We departed From Mizoram On 25 Aug 2022 at 7:00 a.m. and arrived at the camp centre on 26 Aug 2022 around 2:55 p.m. The TSC is divided into three different divisions namely- Pre TSC-1 ,Pre TSC-2 That was held in jorhat and All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) that was held in Delhi.To attend the pre TSC-1 four SD and four SW are selected from '20 MIZORAM BATTALION NCC' and four SD and two SW are selected from '1 MIZO BATTALION NCC' to represent Silchar group from Mizoram .In pre TSC-1, all the NCC groups from the Northeast congregate to select the representative of the North East Region(NER).The selected cadets represent the North East Region in All India Thal Sainik Camp(AITSC) which used to be held in Delhi.

Inter Group Drill Competition (IGDC) NER was held between 1st Sept - 8th Sept at Assam Regimental Centre, Shillong, Happy Valley.

3 cadets were selected from our institution to represent Silchar Group,

Cpl. Shalom Laldinpuii

In this Competition 8 Groups participated and the Competition is of Contingent Drill with and without arms + Individual. The individual test was along a selection for PRE RDC Camp, we congratulate Cpl JH. Ruatfela to make it through the selection.

Cadets were fortunate to take part, learning new things and being able to interact with the cadets of other groups.
