Internal Hackathon Organized at Government Engineering College Ajmer for SIH-2026

Ajmer, September 7, 2026: An internal hackathon was successfully organized at Government Engineering College Ajmer for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026. According to the college's SIH SPOC, Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, a total of 85 student teams from various departments of the college participated in the hackathon, showcasing their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills. Out of these, 50 outstanding teams have been selected for the next round.

The jury members involved in the evaluation were Mr. Mukesh Gupta (ECE Department), Dr. Shikha Gupta (CSE Department), Dr. Tarun Kumar Aseri (Mechanical Engineering Department), Mr. Dinesh Khunteta (CSE Department), Dr. Atul Kumar Sharma (EIC Department), Mr. Vishnu Prakash Sharma (CSE Department), Ms. Lakshmi Choudhary (CSE Department), and Ms. Vandana Saraswat (CSE Department).

The Smart India Hackathon is one of India's largest innovation competitions, attracting lakhs of students. Its objective is to find innovative solutions to real-world problems presented by government departments, PSUs, and private companies. SIH-2026 focuses on important areas such as agriculture, healthcare, clean technology, and smart automation.

The selected 50 teams will now prepare for the upcoming rounds of SIH-2026, where they will compete with top teams from across the country.

Principal Dr. Radha Krishna Motwani stated that internal hackathons organized at institutions such as Government Engineering College Ajmer provide students with an important platform for skill development, teamwork, innovation, and preparation for large-scale competitions.

🇮🇳 राष्ट्र सर्वप्रथम: राष्ट्र निर्माण में युवाओं की भूमिका

राजकीय अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालय अजमेर में प्रथम वर्ष के नवागंतुक विद्यार्थियों के लिए आयोजित इंडक्शन प्रोग्राम में विद्या भारती के क्षेत्र संगठन मंत्री श्री गोविंद जी का प्रेरणादायी एवं ओजस्वी उद्बोधन हुआ।

प्राचार्य डॉ. राधाकृष्णन मोटवानी ने मुख्य अतिथि का स्वागत करते हुए 2047 के विकसित भारत के संकल्प को साकार करने में युवाओं की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला।

मुख्य वक्ता श्री गोविंद जी ने “संभावना से प्रगति की ओर: राष्ट्र निर्माण में युवाओं की भूमिका” विषय पर विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि शिक्षा और सीखने की प्रक्रिया निरंतर चलने वाली यात्रा है। उन्होंने भारत के गौरवशाली इतिहास, अभियांत्रिकी के विविध आयामों और अपनी जड़ों से जुड़े रहने के महत्व पर जोर दिया।

उन्होंने कहा कि सफल जीवन केवल व्यक्तिगत उन्नति और आर्थिक समृद्धि तक सीमित नहीं है; राष्ट्रहित, देशहित और मातृभूमि के प्रति समर्पण ही जीवन को सार्थक बनाता है।

AI और आधुनिक तकनीक के बढ़ते प्रभाव पर उन्होंने कहा कि तकनीक कार्य करने के तरीके बदल सकती है, लेकिन मानवीय संवेदनाओं और मूल्यों का स्थान नहीं ले सकती। इसलिए युवाओं को तकनीकी दक्षता के साथ मानवीय मूल्यों को अपनाकर राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान देना चाहिए।

कार्यक्रम के समापन पर क्रिएटिव आर्ट सोसाइटी की समन्वयक डॉ. सरोज लखावत ने मुख्य अतिथि, प्राचार्य, संकाय सदस्यों एवं विद्यार्थियों का आभार व्यक्त किया।

🎓 Student Induction Program 2026-27 का शुभारंभ

बड़लिया स्थित इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज अजमेर में नवप्रवेशित बी.टेक प्रथम वर्ष के विद्यार्थियों के लिए Student Induction Program (SIP) 2026-27 का शुभारंभ हुआ।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि जेएलएन मेडिकल कॉलेज, अजमेर के प्राचार्य डॉ. अनिल सामरिया ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए अनुशासन, निरंतर सीखने, नवाचार, नेतृत्व क्षमता और मानवीय मूल्यों को विद्यार्थी जीवन का आधार बनाने का आह्वान किया।

कार्यक्रम के प्रथम दिवस विद्यार्थियों का पारंपरिक रूप से तिलक लगाकर स्वागत किया गया। साथ ही सभी विभागाध्यक्षों ने अपने विभागों, पाठ्यक्रम, प्रयोगशालाओं, उपलब्धियों एवं भविष्य की संभावनाओं से विद्यार्थियों को परिचित कराया।

प्राचार्य डॉ. आर. के. मोटवानी ने बताया कि 17 से 22 अगस्त 2026 तक चलने वाले इस कार्यक्रम में अभिभावक संवाद, यूनिवर्सल ह्यूमन वैल्यूज़, एंटी-रैगिंग जागरूकता, खेलकूद, रचनात्मक गतिविधियां, साहित्यिक एवं प्रोफिशिएंसी मॉड्यूल, नवाचार एवं उद्यमिता तथा स्थानीय भ्रमण सहित विभिन्न शैक्षणिक और सह-पाठ्यक्रम गतिविधियां आयोजित की जाएंगी।

कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को नए शैक्षणिक वातावरण से सहज रूप से जोड़ते हुए उनमें टीम भावना, रचनात्मकता, सामाजिक जागरूकता और नेतृत्व क्षमता का विकास करना है।
