A Talk on “The Impact of Psychosocial Issues Among Students”.

The Women Development Cell, Pranab College, in collaboration with District Mental Health Programme (DMHP), District Hospital, Dimapur, Nagaland, organised a talk on “The impact of psychosocial issues among students”.
The resource person, Dr. Temsuyanger, SMO(Psychiatrist) District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) Dimapur, Nagaland, higlighted on the need to create awareness among students with the core objectives to identify the prevalent psychosocial issues such as peer pressure, bullying, addiction to mobile games, and self-generated pressure by following healthy habits like time management, limiting screen time, focusing on spiritual well-being and maintaining realistic goals. The talk ended with an insightful Q&A session.
During the ice-breaker session, Miss Mhiephronguno Khate, Clinical Psychologist(DMHP), conducted a laughter therapy with the students to highlight the importance of stress management.
The moderator of the programme was Dr. Alomi Cynthia Shikhu, Asst. Prof., Department of Sociology. Welcome address was delivered by Mrs. Rina A**l, Asst. Prof., Department of Education.
