NECU observed the 78th Independence Day with the rest of the nation. Prof.Dr.Darlando Khathing, honourable Vice Chancellor hoisted the national flag. He also delivered a speech on the occasion. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

NECU and VISION College of Jeonju, Korea signed an MoU on 1st July 2024 for Korean Language Teaching Centre at NECU City Campus, Dimapur.

It is proposed to be launched in September 2024. The course duration is 10 months. There are 6 Korean language proficiency levels and those who score atleast level 3 will be eligible for admission into VISION College in Korea. Depending on language proficiency level, varying scholarships from 20% up to 80% are provided.

The Vision College offers 21 departments, and focuses on training-based classes for 2 years Diploma or 4 years Bachelor degree. Upon completion of the course, it assures 80% job placement in various Korean companies.

Further details about Korean Language learning and course fees will be announced in due time.
