The Government Chandra Vijay College, Dindori, Madhya Pradesh was established in September, 1969 which was subsequently taken over by the State Government on July 25, 1973. The college was recognized under UGC 2(f) and 12(B) in December 1991. The college has a status of a 'Lead College' of Dindori district. s and at Post-graduate level in Arts subjects. The college has 16.35 acres of land. It is a government college affiliated to Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. The college is situated in the Tribal area. About 98 per cent students of the college belong to rural areas and most of them come from the weaker sections of the society.
