HISTORY AND INSPIRATION COME ALIVE. On March 13th, history students from Hingalganj Mahavidyalaya visited Dhanyakuria Rajbari's iconic Gaine Mansion as part of their curriculum. This majestic structure showcases a unique blend of European Gothic and traditional Indian architectural styles, characterized by massive towers, Corinthian pillars, arched windows, and ornate stucco work. The students' visit was supervised by Soumita Mallick Samajder, Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Susanta Roy, and Sact Rita Paul. Soumita Mallick Samajder

Hingalganj Mahavidyalaya marked its 21st foundation day by bringing together its faculty, staff, and students. The celebrations began with a cultural performance by faculty members, followed by a student drama. The highlight of the event included a cake cutting ceremony, lighting the lamp and recognition of academic achievements, with prizes awarded to top-scoring students in each department. The Best NSS Boy and Girl, along with the Student of the Year, best assistant professor award was given to Dr. Shamim Bhar of English department for his selfless contribution to the college, Best SACT was given to Rajib Das of Geography department, Best committee and cell were also honored by the Principal sir. College also inaugurated its annual magazine on the occasion of foundation day.

Hingalganj Mahavidyalaya marked 'No To***co Day' on 10th March by organizing an event with students, teachers, and respected members of the faculty, including the Respected Principal, IQAC Coordinator, and TIC. Dr. from the block, along with a psychologist and social worker, graced the occasion, highlighting the alarming rise in to***co usage among students. The attendees were provided with effective strategies to overcome to***co addiction, supported by Dr. and the psychologist. The college premises was declared a no to***co area.
