The Rajasthan AVGC-XR Summit (RAS-2025) has been announced for October 28, 2025, and will be held at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur. Two representatives from the Rajasthan AVGC-XR & Media Association (RAMA) — Mr. Rahul Singh (Coordinator) and Mr. Gaurav Choudhary (Co-Convener) — visited the Department of Animation & Multimedia, Birla Institute of Technology, Jaipur Campus on October 14, 2025.
The session was conducted exclusively for animation students to discuss the planning and preparations for the upcoming International Animation Day celebration on October 28, 2025.
The RAS-2025 Summit will feature several renowned speakers from the animation industry. Sincere thanks to Mr. Rahul Singh and Mr. Gaurav Choudhary for their visit and for sharing detailed insights about the event.

*Successful Completion of Workshop on Storytelling and Pre-Production for Animation*

We’re pleased to report the successful completion of our 8th day workshop on Storytelling and Pre-Production for Animation, led by renowned animator Mr. Arvind Jodha, Creative Head of Arvind Studios, on April 4, 2025.

*Workshop Highlights:*

- Concept building and storytelling techniques

- Group discussions on story development and characterization

- Storyboarding

- Screening and discussion of Mr. Jodha’s animated short films, focusing on storytelling and film aesthetics

Our workshop began with a session on “Acting for Animation” for students of B.Sc. A&M and M.Sc. Animation Design. Tapan Bhatt, a well-known actor, writer, and director with 35 years of experience, led the session.
