Creative Hut Academy, formerly Creative Hut Institute of Photography and Film is India’s first Photography Institute with a unique educational system based on Gurukulam. The institute was founded in 2007 and is now located in Mattakkara, Kerala to give its students an ancient traditional education showing love and respect towards nature. Since 2007, it's beginning in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, as

the years go by, our dream continues to grow. The Institute is located on the banks of a river commonly known as “Pannagam Thodu” at Mattakkara which is 18 Km from Kottayam, “the City of Letters” which is now also known as "Picture City". The blowing of the winds, the flowing of the river, the rhythm of rain, the changing clouds, and the ever foliage make you experience the most natural sounds and colors of nature. Being a photogenic place, it helps you work in different lighting conditions and angles that give each photo a new vibrant art scene. We are humbled by the support of our enthusiastic mentors, glad about the success of our students, and thankful to all well-wishers who contributed in making our dreams possible. What led us in our journey was a dream to create a place where creative people could learn how to take their passion forward and make it their career.

Being silent and still conveying the stories is something that needs patience, perseverance, and consistency.
You might not get everything in the first take.
What is more important is to keep going on the right path, make efforts with the right purpose, and never give up.
Simple and humble should not be by force...
It should be by choice....
And with that simplicity when your work gets noticed, appreciated and acclaimed; you find yourself with confidence and dignity...

Through this documentary, we honour the efforts and hard work of all the BLOs (Booth Level Officers) across the nation, who give their 100% with dedication and responsibility, contributing to the strength of our democracy.
