Ms. Fathima Tahsir, Ms. Vinita Naik, and Ms. Sinchana have successfully published their research article titled “IoT-enabled Smart Hydroponic System Using Nutrient Film Technique for Precision Agriculture” in the International Journal of Informatics and Communication Technology, a Q4 Scopus-indexed journal.

As part of the NAIN 2.0 initiative, the PMU team from IIIT Dharwad visited Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapura on 26th April 2026 to evaluate student innovations.

The visit focused on shortlisting the Top 10 ideas for the next phase of incubation and mentorship. The event showcased exceptional creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial potential among students.

MITK got sanction for the grant of 1.86 crore for 3 years for the NAIN 2.0 from govt of Karnataka.
