๐ŸŽ‰ Agriculture Research - Road to Excellence ๐ŸŽ‰

Dr. Trivima sharma, Assistant Professor, Ganpat University - K K Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Research (KKIASR), Faculty of Agriculture, Allied Sciences and Technology, has been selected among the Top 10 National Winners of the D.E.S.I.G.N for BioE3 Challenge โ€“ November 2025 Cycle, a prestigious national innovation initiative supported by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)โ€“ BRIC, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

Her innovative design idea earned a cash prize of โ‚น1,00,000 and an invitation to submit a full RDI proposal to the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), with potential funding support of up to โ‚น25 lakhs for Proof of Concept development.

This achievement reflects Ganpat Universityโ€™s strong research culture, interdisciplinary approach, and commitment to biotechnology-led innovation, aligned with national priorities such as BioE3 and Viksh*t Bharat 2047, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr) Maurvi Vasavada, Executive Dean.

We are delighted to share that Mr. Jay Upadhyay, Student of M.Sc. Agri Analytics with SAS (Sem III), K.K. Institute of Agricultural Science & Research, has been selected as a Climate Champion under the prestigious National Youth Climate Consortium (NYCC) Climate Champions Fellowship, supported by YuWaah-UNICEF and implemented by Bring Back Green Foundation. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ก
Jay is the only one representing Gujarat among 35 Youth Champions selected from over 1200 applicants across India! ๐Ÿ™Œ
๐Ÿ”น During this 6-month fellowship (Aug 2025 โ€“ Jan 2026), he will:
โœ… Mobilize young people for climate action
โœ… Conduct awareness workshops & on-ground initiatives
