The foundation stone of the college was laid by the hon'ble chief minister S.Partap Singh Kairon on july 30-1961.This college is running 3 year diploma course in computer, civil, electrical, mechnical,el

ectronic & communication and chemical Engg. The respective laboraties and workshops for each course are well equipped with modern machinery.The class room are well furnished and having audio visual aids.The college provided with the facilities and library equipped with books and journals,as well as that of its connection with world through the E-mail and internet connectivity. Polytechnic is affiliated with Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh.

A heartwarming reunion of batchmates after 40 years — filled with laughter, nostalgia, and the enduring spirit of friendship, as Roderians from the 1982–1985 batch (Civil and Electrical) came together once again.

Truly grateful for the opportunity to reconnect and share this special time with dear friends: Gurjeet Rattan, Mohinder Pal Singh, Balraj Gill, Sarabjit Singh, and Parvinder Singh.
