Asalam u Alaikum friends.

Though there is no pill that if swallowed can make you master the language . But certainly there are the steps that one may take to improve his or her language. Today I am going to share with you the tips which can help us learn and gain mastery over the language.

1. Read everything you can get your hands on:- Developing a habit of reading plays a pivotal role in gaining mastery over the language. Begin with a newspaper, blog, a novel etc. Read with patience and read periodically.

2. Make note of the new or unfamiliar words and learn their usage. It enhances vocabulary to a great extent.

3. Listen to commentary, English news .

4. There are inhibitions like that of shyness and mother tongue or second language influence. Talk to your friends as one doesn't feel shy with them.

5. While speaking initially don't bother about how well you are going . Enjoy speaking. Once you gain the pace and confidence, grammatical mistakes will disappear of their own.

6. Remember that we don't speak any language to impress anyone . So speak frequently in the language you love to learn

7. Ask a lot of questions to each other. Let the subject of discussion be anything.

8. Remember that speed is not fluency it is rather the clarity. Take your time. It is no humiliation if you can't get hold of the words quickly. Practice will make you both fluent as well as perfect.
