The college is part of The Muslim Educational Society (MES), Kozhikkod and is a self-financed college, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by the government of Kerala. The Management has the vision of developing this institution into a premier centre of academic excellence by giving top priority

to post graduate studies and research. It also envisages the upliftment of the socially and economically down-trodden students to have access to the highest academic accomplishments in their own areas of interest. The main aim of the college is to provide hard work, dedication, discipline, enterprise and honesty and to mould professionals with high degree dedication to face the challenges of the 21st century with perfect equanimity.
