The Urbino Philosophy of Physics Summer School, starting in 1998, offers a learning opportunity for people interested in this fundamental area of Philosophy.

The student session is a central part of the XXIX Urbino International Summer School in Philosophy of Physics.

It offers selected participants the opportunity to present and discuss their research.

This year’s student contributions explore a range of fundamental issues, from the ontology of quantum mechanics to wave function realism and Bohmian approaches.

🎓 XXIX Urbino International Summer School in Philosophy of Physics

We invite submissions addressing foundational questions in philosophy of physics, with a focus on the conceptual and ontological structure of contemporary physical theories.

📝 Selected papers will be presented and discussed during the School, and a selection of revised contributions will be published in a special section of Sophia Journal.

The second part of the program for the XXIX Urbino International Summer School in Philosophy of Physics is now available.

Across Days 3–4 we will broaden the discussion, addressing both historical and interpretative perspectives on quantum theory, as well as contemporary debates on its foundations.
