【千葉大学環境ISO学生委員会が「サステイナブルキャンパス・アジア国際会議」のセッションの司会を務めました】
【Chiba University Student Committee contributed as moderator of ACCS】
平成29年12月10日（日）、千葉大学環境ISO学生委員会の学生３名は、京都大学で行われた「サステイナブルキャンパス・アジア国際会議（ACCS）」の学生発表のセッションの司会を務めました。学生がセッションの司会を行うのはACCSで初めてのことです。
Three members from Chiba University ISO Student Committee served as the master of Asian Conference on Campus Sustainability, which was held at Kyoto University, Japan on 10 December, 2017. Surprisingly, this assembly marked the first time for our organization to organize a conference regarding the environmental activities as a moderator.

発表を行った岡桃菜さん（国際教養・2年）は「英語での司会は初めての取り組みでしたが無事に終えることができて嬉しいです」と会議運営の成功を振り返っていました。
八代慈瑛さんは（法政経・1年）「海外の学生と交流することでも様々な新たな視点を得ることができました。」と、他国の教授方や学生と意見を交わせた意義を感じていました。
そして、会議終了後もモチベーションが高く、落合優衣さん（教育・2年）は「今後英語でコミュニケーションを図る機会は増えていくと思うので、自分の英語力、また話すことのスキルを磨いていきたいです。」と話していました。
One of the representatives from Chiba University, Momona Oka (College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) was very glad that the session, for which she and other members put a huge amount of efforts, was successfully over, although just before the session she was quite anxious since this experience was the first time for her. Oka added that she “found a number of interesting ideas for better sustainability, many of which were helpful when it comes to considering our activities in the future.”
Jiei Yashiro (Faculty of Law, Politics and Economics), who enrolled in Chiba University this spring, found it meaningful to exchange ideas with professors and students from various universities and institutions, both domestically and internationally. Yashiro also mentioned that it was a very rare and great opportunity to organize the event from scratch, through which he gained a lot.
Even after the conference, they seemed passionate and future-oriented, to a large extent. Yui Ochiai (Faculty of Education), who is studying to be an exceptional teacher, is willing to enhance her English abilities as well as her presentation skills. According to the interview, she struggled to use comprehensible English to tell information to international participants whose first language is not English. However, she was relieved to have been able to deliver the information with understandable expressions and pronunciations.

2年前、千葉大学を代表して韓国で開かれた「1st Asian Conference on Campus Sustainability」 に参加させて頂き、千葉大学の環境活動について英語で紹介しました。そして、京都大学での国際会議に参加した3人の手助けを（主に英文原稿の作成を通して）させて頂きました。
Translation: Koichi Sado (a fourth year student at Faculty of Law, Politics and Economics), who participated in 1st Asian Conference on Campus Sustainability (2015) in Korea to introduce our university’s environmental activities in English, and supported the three wonderful members that I described above before their departure to Kyoto (especially in terms of writing their English drafts).
