2026年2月6日から10日間、台湾遠征に行って参りました！
台湾・台南にある太鼓のテーマパーク「十鼓文創園區」にて、30分の演目を全9公演披露させていただきました。
公演後には、たくさんの歓声や拍手をいただき、大きな励みとなりました！
また、パレードでは「永遠に」を演奏しながら練り歩きを行いました。多くの方々に笑顔を届けることができたと思います！！
その後には路上パフォーマンスの機会もあり、本当に充実した時間を過ごすことができました。
メンバー全員にとって、心に残る大切な思い出と経験となりました。この貴重な機会を糧に、今後もさらに成長していきたいと思います！

From February 6th, 2026, we spent 10 amazing days on tour in Taiwan!
At Ten Drum Cultural Village, a taiko-themed park in Tainan, Taiwan, we had the honor of performing our 30-minute program a total of nine times.
After each performance, we were incredibly grateful to receive so much cheering and applause—it truly encouraged us!
During the parade, we marched through the streets performing “Towani,” and we hope we were able to bring smiles to many people along the way.
We also had opportunities for street performances afterward, making it an incredibly fulfilling experience.
This became a precious memory and invaluable experience for every member.
We will continue to grow and improve, carrying this incredible opportunity with us

今回の自主公演で代表を務めました、前川璃史です。
まずはご来場いただいた皆様、そして温かいご支援をくださった皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。
2001年の始動から25年。
和太鼓「楽」が歩んできた長い道のりの中で、少しずつ薄れてしまったもの、忘れかけていたもの。それらを今一度見つめ直し、全員で「再始動」すること。そして何より、和太鼓の素晴らしさを皆様に届けること。それが今回の私たちの目標でした。
本番を迎えるまで、決して平坦な道ではありませんでした。
詰まったスケジュール、意見の衝突、多くの困難。
それでも幕を開けることができたのは、メンバー一人ひとりの「やるんだ」という強い意志があったからです。
また、多くのOBOGの皆様との交流を通じ、世代を超えて「楽」という絆で繋がっていることを再確認できたことは、私たち現役生にとって大きな財産となりました。
今、「楽」は変化の真っ只中にいます。
悩み、もがきながらも、この公演で得た経験を糧に一歩ずつ進んでいきます。
最後に、共に駆け抜けてくれた全メンバーへ。
本当にありがとう。
これからも和太鼓「楽」をよろしくお願いいたします。

My name is Rihito Maekawa, and I had the honor of serving as the representative for this year’s independent performance.
First, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and to all those who supported us so warmly.
Since our founding in 2001, 25 years have passed.
Over the long journey of Wadaiko Raku, there were things that gradually faded and things we had nearly forgotten.
Our goal for this performance was to reflect on those things, to restart together as one, and above all, to share the beauty of wadaiko with everyone.
The road to opening night was far from easy.
Packed schedules, differences in opinion, and countless challenges stood in our way.
Even so, we were able to raise the curtain because every single member carried the strong determination to see it through.
Through connecting with so many alumni, we were also reminded that the bond of “Raku” transcends generations.
That realization has become a priceless treasure for all of us current members.
Right now, Raku is in the midst of change.
Though we continue to struggle and search for our way, we will keep moving forward—step by step—using everything we gained from this performance as our strength.
Lastly, to every member who ran this journey with me:
Thank you, truly.
We sincerely ask for your continued support for Wadaiko Raku.

合同公演とゲリラ公演にて「鬼」を演奏させていただきました。

まずは、「鬼」がリズムや雰囲気を変えずにここまで受け継がれてきたことに感謝でいっぱいです。

「鬼」は、スピード感があり、緻密で、根性や覚悟が必要な演目だと思っています。
だからこそ、奏者はやってやるぞという精神で心から鬼を打ち表現しなければ、観客には何も伝わらず響かない。
そんな中、鬼メンバーは、精神強く、ひたむきに練習して最後まで駆け抜けてくれました。

We had the opportunity to perform “Oni” at both the joint independent performance and the guerrilla performance.
First of all, I’m grateful that Oni has been passed down without changing its rhythm or atmosphere.
I think “Oni” is a fast, precise piece that requires strong spirit and determination.
That’s why, unless each performer plays with full commitment and puts their heart into it, it won’t reach or move the audience.
Even so, Oni members stayed mentally strong and practiced relentlessly until the end.
This “Oni” was created by all Oni members,
a performance filled with anger, joy, and everything in between.
Please take a look.
And I want to perform “Oni” again someday.

全国棚田サミットin別府
私たちは2025年11月1日に行われた全国棚田サミットにて、「永遠に」「秩父」「三宅」の3演目をを演奏させていただきました‼️
地元の方々に私たちの演目をお見せできることができ、とても貴重な機会でした❗️
会場ではお米が当たる大抽選会や、大分県の特産品が購入できるブースなどがあり、メンバー一同パフォーマンスのみならず、大分県の食も満喫していました〜
National Terraced Rice Paddy Summit in Beppu

We performed three pieces, "Towani," "Chichibu," and "Miyake," at the National Terraced Rice Paddy Summit held on November 1st, 2025‼️
It was a very valuable opportunity to be able to show our performances to the local people❗️
At the "Terraced Rice Paddy Summit," there was a grand raffle where you could win rice, and booths where you could purchase Oita Prefecture's specialty products. All the members enjoyed not only the performance but also the food of Oita Prefecture〜

〇三宅
ロロです。天空祭2025の三宅パフォーマンスで、頭を務めさせていただきました。
パフォーマンスの頭を担当するのは今回が初めてで、本当に素敵なメンバーと一緒に活動できて恵まれていたと感じています。最初は横打ちも分からなかった状態から、心を込めて演奏できるまで成長しました。
この経験を通して、一人ひとりを知ることの大切さを実感しました。みんなで一緒に成長し、良くなっていくことが、この経験を特別なものにしてくれたと思います。
また、一緒に成長するというのは、常にフィードバックをし続けることだけではなく、お互いを認め合い、褒め合うことでやりがいやモチベーションを高めていくことも大切だと感じました。
経験があるかどうか、日本人か留学生かは関係ありません。大切なのは、毎日学び続けて成長しようとする気持ちと、チームとしてどれだけ良く協力できるかだと思います。
自分には無理だとか、足りないと言われても、そんな言葉に負けないでください。スキルに関係なく、良い心を持っていれば、誰でもどんなことでも成し遂げる可能性があると私は信じています。
関わってくれた全ての人に感謝しています。
Hello, its Lolo. I had the honor of being the Kashira for Tenkusai 2025 Miyake performance.
It was my first time taking on the role of performance Kashira, and I was blessed to work with such an amazing team. Everyone started from not even knowing how to hit the taiko sideways, to performing with full heart on stage.
During this experience, I realized how important it is to truly get to know each member. Growing and improving together is what made this experience so meaningful to me.
At the same time, improving together doesn’t mean giving constant feedback all the time,, it also means recognizing each other, praising one another, and building a sense of fulfillment and motivation together.
It doesn’t matter if you have no experience, or if you’re Japanese or an international student. What matters is your willingness to learn, to improve every day, and how well you work together as a team.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not good enough for something. Regardless of skill, I believe everyone has the chance and potential to do anything if they have a good heart.
I would like to say thank you to everyone who was involved.

天空祭というAPUで1番大きいイベントだったので楽しい永遠にを演目に選びました！たくさんの人と演目を共にできたことは幸せです。みんなが楽しいと思ってくれたら嬉しいです。
Since the Tenku Festival is APU’s biggest event, we chose “Fun Forever” as our performance! I’m so happy we got to perform it with so many people. I hope everyone enjoyed it.
