Last trip of the Spring 2026 semester was to Nagashima Spa Land! The weather was not the best but our Owls managed to get on one ride all together, and enjoy some Panda Express. Congrats on a great semester Owls, and see you in the Summer!

At TUJ KYOTO we love to end the semester with a bang! TED×TUJ marked a night of arts, inspiration and impressive leadership. 🦉💥

Thanks to the remarkable coordination of the Global Leadership Academy class, the TUJ KYOTO community experienced new perspectives. From learning about the difficulties of adjusting to Japan to heartfelt stories showing the joy of growing as a person living abroad, we heard it all—and it was moving!

Trip to Ehime🍊✨

The Dean and Noriko Wilson joined TUJ Tokyo and TUJ KYOTO for an amazing trip to Ehime, Japan! On this trip our owls got to visit Matsuyama University campus to enjoy lunch, learn how to make mizuhiki, and make friends. 🪢 Owls were able to see Machu Picchu in the East, along with learning about the surrounding mines and ending with panning for gold! ⭐️ Many castles were seen, lots of laughs were had, yummy food was eaten, and new friendships were made! Ehime, you will not be forgotten.🌸❤️

日本語は下記・Who says a classroom needs four walls? At TUJ KYOTO, Owls in Assistant Professor Steve Ryan's Presentation for Policy Change course took their studies to the neighborhood Fujinomori Shrine.

Joined by the Fushimi Ward Office, students presented on various aspects of the shrine—including its deity, etiquette, gardens, seasonal events.

伏見区役所の協力のもと、学生たちは神社の御祭神や参拝マナー、庭園、季節ごとの行事など、さまざまなテーマについて発表を行いました。
