Wamuchomba, the Daughter of Githunguri, has strongly condemned leaders attacking former President Uhuru Kenyatta, stating that nobody owns the 8 million Mountain votes and that Uhuru remains the undisputed kingpin of the region. She emphasized that during his 10-year rule, despite flaws, he was never impeached, nor did he impeach his deputy, and he worked to unify the country. She warned that attacking Uhuru is tantamount to despising Kiambu and Kenya at large, stressing that Kiambu is not a colony of Nyeri and that leaders must stop demeaning others. She defended Uhuru’s right to support any successor, dismissed forced political inheritance, and urged Sen. Malala and others to stop making careless remarks about Uhuru, who she described as a respected statesman admired across the nation.
