WELCOME TO MUKAS,
MUKAS - Moi University Know Aids Society is a students club whose major objective is to create awareness on HIVand AIDS through education and behavior change communication strategies within and outside moiuniversity environs.
Our Vision is
To reduce HIV and AIDS spread in the learning institution.
To create an HIV risk free society.
To work towards informed and responsible society on matters of HIV and AIDS on Campus.
our Mission is
To enlighten students on the causes and spread of HIV and AIDs epidemic.
To enlighten on the control strategies and measure of HIV and Aids and ways of creating HIV free environment
To involve students ,staff and the sorrounding community in practices that aim at curbing Hiv and Aids in the academic environment.
our Activities involve
Condom Distribution
Dissemination of information through MUKAS flashpoint
Conducts training through workshops,community outreach within Campus and outside for HIV and Aids awareness.
Participation in Mobile and Moonlight VCT.
we do have our meetings every monday as from 7PM - 9PM where we debate on rising issues as pertaining to our society today and general Hiv and Aids awsareness.
