The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. John Kobia Ataya hosted a courtesy call from a high-level delegation of The Salvation Army led by Lt. Col. Haron Wanyonyi (Kenya) and Major Michael Eku (Ghana), culminating in the signing of the renewed MoU.
The visit reaffirmed the University's commitment to quality theological education by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Salvation Army, strengthening a longstanding partnership in the training of Salvation Army students.
Also present during the engagement were Ms. Judy Gikunda, Chief Accountant; Rev. Dr. Naftaly Mwenda, Chair of the Department of Theology; Rev. James Karanja; and the University's Legal Officer.
The renewed collaboration reflects the shared commitment of with The Salvation Army to nurturing competent, ethical, and servant leaders through quality theological education.
Through this partnership, Salvation Army officers and students will continue to benefit from academic and professional training that equips them to serve communities with excellence, integrity, and compassion.
