It's deeply concerning to witness the behavior of Hon. Charity Kathambi, the MP for Njoro, who appears to be launching immature and poorly planned projects for her own benefit and that of her associates. These initiatives, such as free college studies and grand graduation ceremonies, may seem beneficial on the surface, but they are actually thinly veiled schemes designed to facilitate the looting of public resources.

This blatant misuse of power and public resources is not only a betrayal of the voters' trust but also a stark reminder of the need for greater transparency and accountability in our leadership. Instead of focusing on genuine development that would uplift the community, the MP's actions are contributing to the cycle of corruption that continues to plague our society.

It is imperative that such unethical practices be exposed and condemned. The people of Njoro deserve a representative who is committed to their welfare, not one who prioritizes personal enrichment over public service. The time has come for the citizens to demand better governance and ensure that their leaders are held accountable for their actions.

The president labelling the efforts of the Gen Ziis as "funded" undermines the legitimacy of their concerns and provokes unnecessary tension. Whether or not there is financial backing, what truly matters are the issues being highlighted—issues that demand our attention and action.

Our young people are the backbone of our future, and their insights, frustrations, and hopes should be met with understanding and respect. They are addressing problems that impact not only their lives but the lives of all citizens. It is crucial that we listen to them genuinely and work collaboratively to find solutions.

Provoking or dismissing their voices only serves to alienate them further. Instead, let us engage with them constructively, appreciating their perspective, and showing a commitment to addressing their valid concerns

As citizens, we elect representatives to serve our interests, to be our voices in the corridors of power, and to address our community's needs and concerns. However, there are times when these representatives fall short of their responsibilities, leading to a significant disconnect between the electorate and their leaders. One such case is that of Charity Kathambi, the elected representative for Njoro.

When we elected Charity Kathambi, we believed she would champion our causes, fight for our rights, and ensure our voices were heard. Unfortunately, it has become increasingly clear that she has shifted her allegiance from the people who elected her to the president and his administration. This shift represents a fundamental misrepresentation of her role as our elected official.
