HINIVUU Today 3/2/2024, Maasai Mara Red Cross Chapter in collaboration with Maasai Mara Peer Educators Club, Scouts club, Modeling club, Animal Health Club, and Music Club for a mega clean-up activity around the University premises from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, members actively participated and the theme of the day was"Reduce Pollution and Waste in Our Environment." Litter was diligently collected and responsibly disposed to respective pits . After successful cleanup, participants enjoyed refreshments before dispersing at their own pleasure. This collective effort not only fostered environmental stewardship but also exemplified the power of collaboration among diverse university clubs for a common cause.

Today, 27/1/2024 Maasai Mara University Red Cross Chapter in collaboration with Maasai Mara University Peer Educators Club had a team building activity as the first activity of the semester at TM grounds from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM , under the theme of " DREAM T.E.A.M , Team Excellence Action Mission". There were 39 members who attended the meeting 18 being gentlemen and 21 ladies and accompanied by two Narok- KRCS branch representatives, the County Dissemination officer and a member . Every member participated in activities for instance ; balloon bursting, egg race , dancing and singing competition among the members, etc. The members after participating in these activities they had refreshments and members left at their own pleasure.

Office of the First Lady Kenya, Guests from Australia, Zambia and South Africa, Daystar University Maasai Mara University , Nairobi Rivers Commission, Kenya Red Cross Society , Khalifa University, Global Gardens of Peace , Global Mental Health Peer Network Twaweza Afrika Foundation and many more local and international delegations present were invited into a Mental Recovery International Conference 2023 and the launch of MRI Day Center Fund Drive at Chambai Springs Hotel Limited from Saturday 8:30 AM to 1700hrs , Sunday from 8:30AM to noon which was both Physical and online conference . The major thematic area of the conference was :
1. To build a day center for mental health at Narok County,
2. Presentation of Biotechnologies, Devices and Digital Monitoring
3. Identity, place and belonging
4. Green Spaces for Mental Health
5. Social Interventions and Impacts of Mental Health
6. Selection of Panel who were represented
7. Support Delivery in Medical Settings
8. Voice , Impacts and Policy.

Today, 18/11/2023 Maasai Mara University Red Cross Chapter and Maasai Mara University Peer Educators Club from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM had a Charity activity in House of Love at. Leshuta.The theme of the day was"Building a supportive and caring environment ." There were 44 members who attended the event, in attendance was the host administration Bishop Peter Cindy the House of Love Director, Assistant Director Mr. John Makooi , One of University Staff Mr. James and 35 girls. Every member from Chapter and the children from the House of Love participated in Prayer session,Team building activity, cooking chapatis for the girls, doing cleaning of the dinning hall, cubes and utensils and we had speeches from the University Chapter Chair, Mr.Kibe the driver, Mr James and Bishop Peter. Students from the University had health talk,mental health and general personal hygiene to the girls.The event was climaxed by Paul Kipsang Vice Chair MMUPEC who gave out the final speech and gave a vote of thanks.
The members had refreshments and also shared the lunch with girls and handed the donations to the admin and children. Everyone was thankful for such activity of giving back to the society and left to our various destination's.

Today, 4/11/2023 Maasai Mara University Red Cross Chapter from 12:00 noon to 4:30 PM at MH 01 hosted an Exchange program with Mount Kenya University Parklands Law Campus. The theme of the day was "EMBRACING OPEN-MINDED NESS AND DEVELOPING GLOBAL VOLUNTEERISM. There were 30 members who attended the event, in attendance we had the County Coordinator Narok Branch KRCS Mr. Elijah Wachira and County Dissemination officer as well as Focal person for Blood donation Collins Makongolo. Every member from each Chapter participated in Team building activity, Dissemination challenge and we had speeches from both the University Chapter Chairs . The event was climaxed by Mr. Elijah recommending and commenting on the progress on both chapters for making such forum and emphasized on learning from each other and meet the goals of KRCS.
The members had refreshments as MMUREC D. O Milcah Okoth disseminating on the background of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Everyone was thankful for such forum and left to their different destinations.

Today, 28/10/2023 Maasai Mara University Red Cross Chapter in collaboration with Maasai Mara University Peer Educators Club had a team building activity at TM grounds from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM , under the theme of " EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION, COMMUNICATION, CONTRIBUTION AND COMMITMENT". There were 45 members who attended the meeting 21 being gentlemen and 24 ladies and accompanied by one Branch representative the County Dissemination officer and Focal person for Blood donation Collins Makongolo. Every member participated in activities for instance ; balloon bursting, egg race , dancing and singing competition among the members, etc. The members after participating in these activities they had refreshments and a talk on " Mental stress" and thereafter members left to their own pleasure.

Maasai Mara University Red Cross Chapter in collaboration with Maasai Mara University Peer Educators went for a school visit and a tree planting activity at Ngoswani mixed Secondary School on 14/10/2023 from 11:00AM to 3:00 PM. The activity was attended by the B.O.M Chair,Acting Deputy Principal and 4 Teaching stuff and 70 members of both clubs with 39 being ladies and 31 gentlemen. The team lead by MMUREC Chair Mwau Mark and Chair MMUPEC Alice Loiton had a motivational, drug and substance abuse, health hygiene talk to the students and climaxed the day with tree planting that is, 44 seedlings and clean up around the school. The school administration proposed to call the area we planted the seedling " Maasai Mara University Forest".
The students had a one on one mentorship program on career paths , students from Maasai mara university explained facts about what courses they take , why its is important to follow their passion , and what were the requirements. For them to make it to campus.
The School appreciated for the talk given to the students and the planting of trees, Red Cross, Peer Educators ,Wildlife Club and scouts were launched with Mr. Nicky Patronizing the Clubs. The students promised to take care of the seedlings under the supervision of Mr. Nicky.

TODAY, 29th April 2033 on Saturday Maasai Mara University Red Cross Chapter members attended the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Kenya Red Cross Narok Branch from 9:30 Hours to 1300 Hours.
The meeting was attended by 12 members from the Chapter who were awarded a Certificate of Recognition for being an outstanding University Chapter Volunteers Awards 2023 under the category of University level .
The Agendas included:
1. Preliminaries
2. Recitation of the seven fundamental principles
3. Reading and confirmation of previous Minutes
4. Matters arising from previous minutes.
5. Treasurer's report
6. Chair person's report
7. Any other business
The meeting was adjourned by the Chairman of the Main board of the Branch,
Then after which the twelve members were engaged in a youths meeting in attendance was the national vice chairperson
Major points of discussion were on the progress and improvement of branch activities,,
Later we were served with tea and some snacks after which the youth did aftermath and left for their pleasure.
