The Faculty of Law of the University of Colombo is the only Faculty of Law in the entire University system in Sri Lanka under the University of Grant Commission. Situated in the heart of Colombo, based within the Island's oldest university. The Department of Law was established in July 1947 under the Faculty of Arts University of Ceylon . නීති පීඨ ශිෂ්‍ය සංගමය (2024/25) විසින් සංවිධානය කරල ලද Lawවැසි අවුරුදු බක්මහ උළෙල පසුගිය දා නීති පීඨ පරිශ්‍රයේ දී පැවැත්විණි. නැටුම් ගැයුම් ඇතුළු අවුරුදු ක්‍රීඩා රාශියකින් සමන්විත වූ මෙයට දමිළ ශිෂ්‍යයන්ගේ ද නොමද සහායෝගය ලැබී තිබීම විශේෂත්වයකි.
